Montgomery Country Department of Health and Human Services has primary responsibility for the delivery of public health and human services that address the basic and critical needs of the county’s most vulnerable children, adults and seniors in Montgomery County. The Maryland State Parental Information Resource Center (PIRC) welcomes you to our website, a place where parents can find information and resources to help their children succeed in school. The site contains links to reports, articles, training guides, and other helpful information on issues such as:

- your legal rights as a parent;

- how to interpret tests and report cards;
